Secret Charter: Sale of Postcards
12 - 5 pm 15th October at Dulwich Picture Gallery, London
Another great excuse to visit the Dulwich Picture Gallery - as if any excuse were needed - a sale of original postcard-sized work by a select group of artists whose identities remain a secret until you buy one and turn it over to find their signature on the back! Holly has contributed to this one-off, prestigious fundraiser along with Anthony Gormley, Tracey Emin, Maggie Hambling, Bruce Mclean and Julian Opie. All proceeds will fund the Arts at Charter School in Dulwich.

Holly Frean was invited to show two paintings at the most recent Paul Smith-curated exhibition at his London HQ on Albemarle Street. This follows on from her solo show 'Who’s Counting' exhibited at Paul Smith in 2016.
Introducing Holly's Ark
Welcome to Holly's Ark! A brand new set of fine bone china side plates bespoke designed by Holly and featuring a motley menagerie of adventuring animals. Eight different side plates detail Holly’s paintings which are screen-printed and hand applied onto Staffordshire fine bone china. Included in the 8 inch collection are a meerkat, chimpanzee, crocodile, pig, zebra, sealion, hippo and bear. Suitable for all ages, dishwasher safe and microwavable.
“Who’s Counting” solo exhibition at Paul Smith, Albemarle Street, London

Holly's solo show at Paul Smith's London flagship store on Albemarle Street features a large selection of recent paintings, drawings and specially commissioned kinetic sculptures designed especially for the shop windows. The show will be opened by Paul Smith himself.
Makers House, Burberry
Britain's finest makers, curated by The New Craftsmen, brought Burberry's 2016 A/W collection to life through installations, demonstrations and live performances. Holly was the featured fine artist in the house, painting miniature ‘ancestral' portraits of visitors from inside her very own gabardine tent.
401 ½ Studios Open Weekend
401 1/2 host their annual open weekend, offering collectors a chance to meet, commission and buy from a diverse stable of artists in their own studios. 401 Wandsworth Road, London SW8 2JP, Private View Thursday 17 November 2016 6–9pm.
Andrew Martin Collaboration
Holly was invited to collaborate on a collection with international design house Andrew Martin. Using Holly's paintings and designs, Andrew Martin developed fabrics, wallpapers and cushions featuring everything from flocked penguins to velvet lions with a veritable (actual!) Noah's Ark of animal paintings in between.
The fabric has appeared in room sets for the film 'Christopher Robin' and is stocked at Andrew Martin.
ING Discerning Eye 2016
Last year designer-turned-artist-turned-judge, Nicole Farhi, invited Holly to exhibit three of her portraits of old Masters on the walls of the Mall Galleries. We are delighted to announce that Holly has been selected for exhibition again with her bronze wall-sculpture ‘Rembrandt’s Palette’.

Hcollaborated with US lifestyle shop Anthropologie on several successful tableware collections between 2012-2018. In addition to this, the King's Road store in London offered Holly an exhibition titled ’Fowl Play' to coincide with her first collection launch. Holly doesn’t keep any stock of any Anthropologie products but will gladly take commissions for personalised ceramic tableware and will be happy to receive your emails at firstname.lastname@example.org
